Pros of cons and oversharing on social media

Oversharing can be tricky even coming coming from people with good intentions. I’m not blaming everyone because I myself like to share an article about something I appreciated the most and I guess it happens to everyone not to think straight on the moment. Sharing and posting everyone is doing it but if we analyze things from another angle is it really necessary and if yes why then? Is it an obligation to post everything you are drinking, eating, liking, disliking every single day?

At the same time, people of my generation keep on asking something they heard from someone else about me and start gossiping if I don’t post a status. Posting is like clarifying and proving you are not passive. In my opinion, sharing an article I like is quite nice but it won’t widen my friend’s list. My real friends come to talk to me by private messages because they care and like me they avoid sharing and commenting on public pages because it is something becoming too common. It makes me think it is so important to live every instant of your life because technologies can be fixed but human life is too shot to b fully wasted behind a screen.

Social media don’t need no education

Meanwhile, universities and other education institutions are now integrating  social media marketing courses to their panel, hoping to catch students’ attention.

As the evolution manifests in all domains, education is very affected by it. In the last years students used the social media networks a lot. More than 50% of students that have been active on internet have reported that social media helped them to perform in their activity by discussing about school topics.

Meanwhile, universities and other education institutions are now integrating  social media marketing courses to their panel, hoping to catch students’ attention. On the other hand, as in for undergraduate and postgraduate students looking for a job, it can be very easy by searching it on the Internet. We give a plus in this case to social media networks because we save a lot of time and energy

Furthermore, as suggested bbcactive.com, we must feel obligated to ask whether social media can be considered “teaching tool” and not as “simple distraction”.

On one hand, not all the students are the same, when we are thinking at the temptation that can distract you from your studies such as games, videos, music. Parents are often being told their children will get  better results if their spend less time spent on social media networks. Indeed, a negative impact of social media it is caused by diminishing the interaction and direct contact between humans. Using often social media for interactions is causing a negative impact on interpersonal level between humans.

To conclude, education and social media can be smartly combined to bring kids and teenagers better e-learning facilities; however, social media use must be controlled by education providers to make sure students are not loosing focus over their studies.

How to be successful with Social Media

“Try to get in touch with people that are really interested by your articles than having as subscribers people who are not interested by your posts.”

There are many ways to elevate your audience in social media. If you don’t have previous experience can be a big challenge so it’s better to use a social media marketing strategy to develop your connection with your audience.

Every action that you make must have a strong and relevant foundation, you will have more success in your relationship with your audience in social media if you respect some rules.

Success in social media is achieved by people who know to listen to their audience, less talking and more listening to your target people. If you know your target’s needs you will know what to offer them. Try to create your product for a certain public. A highly-focused brand  presenting a well created image will have more success than a brand trying to reach audience from more areas.

As in every domain quality beats quantity. Try to get in touch with people that are really interested by your articles than having as subscribers people who are not interested by your posts. Don’t expect that your articles will have success overnight.  Any plan or strategy needs time and effort to succeed so be patient and follow every small step if you want to achieve the expected result.

Promoting your page using your existing users as promoters will bring you more achievements instead focusing just on your posts. Building relations with your audience will be more usefull so you can generate organic shares.  Don’t expect that everybody should share your posts, that’s why try to spend some time on focusing and sharing contents of your existing users.
