Furthermore, as suggested bbcactive.com, we must feel obligated to ask whether social media can be considered “teaching tool” and not as “simple distraction”.

On one hand, not all the students are the same, when we are thinking at the temptation that can distract you from your studies such as games, videos, music. Parents are often being told their children will get  better results if their spend less time spent on social media networks. 1. Indeed it’s complicated to answer between simple distraction and education tools as long as people – especially the youth – are not taking school initiatives seriously.

  2. Nice post about a real issue that happens everyday. I personally don´t like to share my personal data or to put my location on but I think they are great when it´s about sharing a great time saver when you need to join your friends, family or loved ones. As long as data collecting is only used with no harm there is nothing to be afraid about.

  3. A very interesting article! I believe that nowadays social media is part of our lives, even to find a job. For instance, I am the one that uses Facebook to look for a job (freelance job) or just to catch up news from my country. It’s scary how social media has introduced on our lives, and it’s nothing to do. We need to be responsible way.
